Fairfield County Council on Aging, Inc

Fairfield County Council on Aging is a non-profit organization that provides services and resources to improve the quality of life for the county's senior population (age 60 and over).

FCCOA's reason for being is to help older adults age in place with dignity, so that they can spend their later years independently. To that end, we work to meet the needs of our senior community in nutrition, socialization, home care and providing resources.

FCCOA addresses the needs for socialization by providing accessible spaces for seniors to eat and interact through art programs, exercise programs, trivia, dances and more. The resources we provide can range from educational programs to providing assistive medical equipment. For nutrition, our better-known association is as an affiliate of Meals on Wheels of America in delivering meals to homebound seniors. We also provide group dining opportunities at the Winnsboro Senior Center (WSC).
