Columbia HIM is a faith-based non-profit that has served the Midlands area for over 30 years. Our mission statement is 'Reaching communities with the Gospel of Christ through Compassionate Ministry'. Our current programs include the Columbia Hands of Hope Nurse Aide training program which aims to provide under-served communities, in the Midlands, the opportunity to obtain a Nurse Aide certification. Started in 2016, the program has graduated over 150 Nurse Aides and maintained an attrition rate of 98%. Our Hope Food Pantry is a new initiative to provide at-risk demographics, monthly food assistance. Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, the program has consistently provided monthly food assistance to 25 Senior-citizens. When funds are available, our organization also provides rental and utility bill payment assistance.

Our Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) has graduated over 100 Nurse Aides since the inception of the program in 2016.
Our organization partnered with DHEC to provide Diabetes prevention awareness and training as a part of their Diabetes Prevention Program.
Our organization, when funds are available, provide rental and utility bill payment assistance.
