Coastal Family Vacation Foundation, Inc.

Through our Cancer Respite Program, we provide South Carolina residents fighting cancer with an all-inclusive family vacation on the South Carolina Coast. Since 2021 we have provided 19 families with respite stays on Folly Beach. Our goal for 2025 is to send 12 families on respite to disconnect from cancer and reconnect with loved ones.

The CFVF Cancer Respite Program is open to all residents of South Carolina actively undergoing cancer treatments. Patients are nominated by their treating physician. The Program provides an all-inclusive beach vacation for the patient and their household members and/or caregivers.

CFVF is strengthening S.C. families by giving them a space to disconnect from cancer and reconnect with loved ones without worrying about medical routines, schedules and bills.

The all-inclusive CFVF Respite Vacation Program includes accommodations for up to 7 nights, a stipend for gas and groceries, a meal in a local restaurant, a session with a local photographer, and an amenities package donated by the community with local gifts such as flowers, a shark's teeth hunt, a boat outing to Morris Island Lighthouse, etc.
