Because of Roscoe is a 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer base organization dedicated to improving the lives of community and shelter animals by fundraising, raising awareness, and advocating for Bully Breeds. We are committed to mending one broken heart at a time.

Because of Roscoe, also known as The Friends of Fairfield, is a dedicated support system for the local animal shelter and community. Through networking, fundraising, and coordinating essential needs, we enhance the well-being of shelter animals while also focusing on community outreach. Our outreach program improves the lives of dogs living outdoors by providing education, food, and proper housing. A key focus of our mission is spay and neuter advocacy. Our SNIP program offers FREE spay/neuter services to Fairfield County residents and provides low-cost options through vouchers. Additionally, we collaborate with rescue partners to facilitate transfers and placements for both shelter animals and those in the community, ensuring they find safe and loving homes. Through our unwavering efforts, we are hoping to create a more compassionate and responsible community for animals in need.
