The mission of the Babcock Center Foundation is to support Babcock Center's efforts to enhance the lives of people with lifelong disabilities through encouraging financial generosity and volunteer commitment in our community. The mission of the Babcock Center is to empower people with lifelong disabilities to enjoy life by promoting abilities and respecting choice.

Babcock Center provides vital residential, day and vocational supports to people with lifelong disabilities such as intellectual disabilities, autism, head and spinal cord injuries and related disabilities. The goal of all of our programs is to assist people to attain skills to be as independent as possible. These services allow individuals to reach their potential and lead active, healthy productive lives. The vision of the Babcock Center is to cultivate an inclusive community free of barriers for people with lifelong disabilities.

Testimonials

Unfortunately, many of our consumers have no family with whom they can look forward to holiday gatherings or to whom they can turn for assistance with clothing, recreational activities, daily living expenses, and other "luxury" items that we all take so easily for granted. The Babcock Center Foundation exists to bridge this gap. The Foundation depends on the generosity of the community in order to provide the little amenities of life and to meet critical needs when they arise.
