The Arc of South Carolina

The Arc of South Carolina promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

Each year, The Arc of South Carolina serves thousands of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the state through person-centered case management. We help individuals and families navigate complex systems, access critical resources, and build lives defined by independence, choice, and meaningful community participation.

In addition to case management, we provide education and outreach for individuals, families, and community partners. Our advocacy addresses systemic barriers that impact people with disabilities, including reducing waiting lists for essential services, protecting funding that supports families, and strengthening inclusive communities across South Carolina.

Through direct advocacy, education, and coordinated supports, The Arc of South Carolina works to ensure that every person with a disability has the opportunity to live, learn, work, and thrive in their community.
