$3,500 Goal

Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC) is a no-kill, non-profit organization whose mission is four fold: 1) To promote spay/neuter. 2) To restore animals to good medical health before adopting them into permanent, loving homes. 3) To encourage Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) 4) To educate pet owners about their responsibilities as guardians for their companion animals.

We lessen the economic burden on the community for animal control by: Taking stray/shelter animals, spaying/neutering and adopting them into homes. Funds would be used for TNR to reduce population of non-owned cats/dogs. We have community outreach projects to spay/neuter, feed and provide medical assistance to animals whose owners could not otherwise afford to keep them.

Testimonials

I am writing in reference to the South Carolina based rescue group Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC). I am the owner and veterinarian at Birchwood Veterinary Hospital in Lexington, South Carolina. I have worked closely with the rescue team at Animal Rescue Carolina since 2010. We often see them multiple times weekly for exams, vaccines, treatments on both current fosters and new pets. ARC's pets are kept current on vaccines, heartworm prevention, dewormed and surgically altered. Pet's in their care have dentals and extractions as needed. I can't say enough good things about Animal Rescue Carolina.
Sincerely,
Michael T Murphy DVM
