Testimonials

Rosie came to us with severe infection and inflammation in both her eyes. Her person had been told that eye removal (enucleation) would be required for both eyes.  We believed she deserved a chance for normal or near normal sight. Working with a veterinarian, we embarked on an intense and long treatment and both eyes were saved. Today Rosie is a beautiful grown kitty who loves to romp and play. She has a big personality and her person finds great joy in loving her.

Chuancey is a kitty who seems to have the ability to sense sadness in his human. He is remarkable in that he knows to go to her and comfort her by snuggling and placing his paws on her face gently. He almost absorbs his unhappiness and has been a critical reason why she can cope with life challenges.  Chauncey was abused for a very long time in a prior home yet he is gentle and loving and affectionate. He is truly her angel kitty.

Pearl was adopted by an older woman whose Husband had recently passed. In addition to that loss, her beloved kitty of 20 years also passed around the same time. Her grief and loneliness was overwhelming.  She needed a companion and fell in love with a beautiful kitten.  The age of the woman was a concern to her as she feared she might not outlive her new companion.  We worked with a family member who was a co-applicant and would adopt Pearl should that be needed.  We were happy to provide happiness to a lovely woman while ensuring the kitty had lifelong support.
