$5,000 Goal

For the past six years, Trinity Homeschool Academy has been more than just a program—it has been a place where families find support, connection, and confidence in their homeschooling journey.

What started as a small, parent-led co-op has grown into a thriving, Christ-centered community that has served 132 families (and counting) across the Midlands. At Trinity, we come alongside homeschooling parents—not to replace them—but to support and strengthen the incredible work they are already doing.

Because homeschooling can feel overwhelming at times… but it doesn’t have to be done alone.

At its heart, Trinity is built on faith, partnership, and community. Families remain fully in control of their children’s education while gaining access to experienced teachers, structured learning opportunities, and a network of encouragement from others walking the same path.

Today, Trinity offers a wide range of academic and enrichment opportunities designed to meet families where they are. From core classes like English, Algebra, Physical Science, and Spanish, to creative and hands-on experiences like STEAM, Sewing, Theater, Art, and Voice, students are able to grow in both knowledge and confidence. We also offer private music instruction in Piano, Violin, Cello, and Viola—creating space for students to explore their gifts and talents.

One of the most impactful parts of Trinity is our hybrid learning model, where younger students benefit from structured classroom time while continuing their education at home. This approach provides the best of both worlds—professional instruction paired with the personal, intentional involvement that makes homeschooling so meaningful.

And we’re just getting started.

Because of our success serving younger learners, Trinity is preparing to launch a hybrid Pre-K through 5th grade academy within the next year—an exciting step forward that will allow us to serve even more families during these foundational years.

But Trinity is about more than academics.

We are deeply committed to equipping the whole child—academically, physically, and practically. Through programs like our annual CPR & First Aid training, summer sewing camps, and partnerships with organizations like Sandhills Shooting Sports (Gun Safety education) and Genova Karate, students gain real-world skills, discipline, and confidence that extend far beyond the classroom.

Most importantly, everything we do is rooted in faith.

We believe education is not just about knowledge—it’s about character, purpose, and honoring God in the process. Our goal is to help raise a generation of students who are not only well-educated, but also grounded in their values and prepared for what lies ahead.

As Trinity continues to grow, so does its impact.

We remain committed to our mission:
to support parents, strengthen community, and create a space where students can truly thrive.

If you’re new to homeschooling, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Our founder and director, Michele Shearin, brings 19 years of homeschooling experience and a heart for helping families get started with confidence. She has successfully graduated two children — Shane, who works as a lineman, and Larkin, an electrician who, along with his wife, is expecting their first child, making Michele a soon-to-be grandmother! She is currently homeschooling her youngest, Darbylynne, who will be entering her junior year in the fall.

Michele has walked this journey through every stage—and she’s passionate about helping other families do the same. She is open to consulting with any family looking to take that first step. You don’t have to figure it out alone—Trinity is here to help guide the way.

We also invite you to connect with our community at our upcoming
Curriculum Sale & Resource Fair on April 18, 2026 (10 AM–2 PM)—a space to explore, connect, and find the tools you need for your homeschool journey.

At Trinity Homeschool Academy, we believe in walking this journey together.

Because when families are supported… students flourish.

💜 Support the Next Generation of Homeschool Families

Your support helps make this community possible. Every gift directly impacts homeschooling families by expanding access to classes, strengthening programs, and supporting the growth of our upcoming hybrid academy. It allows us to continue creating a place where families feel supported, students are encouraged, and faith stays at the center of it all. If this mission speaks to you—or Trinity has touched your family—we invite you to be a part of it. Together, we can continue equipping the next generation and helping more families thrive.
