To provide responsive programming designed to ensure people in underserved and disadvantaged communities have access to the resources and support needed to live quality and productive lives.

The Brookland Foundation provides a variety of programs, services, and outreach activities that engage and empower youth, families, and the homeless throughout Lexington and Richland Counties. Through our Tutorial, Homeless Outreach, Health and Wellness, and HIV/AIDS programs, we have impacted the lives of may, and our aim is to expand these programs to extend our reach.

Program Overview

Brookland Community Food Pantry

Provides healthy nutritious food and other items to low-to-moderate income individuals and families. Many Midlands families experience challenges with having reliable access to affordable nutritious food and other daily essentials required to live healthy and active lives.

Homeless Outreach Program:
Provides services, promotes awareness, and advocates for homeless individuals and families across the Midlands of South Carolina.

Health and Wellness Program:
Educates our community with information that encourages the pursuit of optimal health and works to decrease health disparities.

Tutorial Program:
Provides weekly after-school activities, supplemental instruction, and homework assistance to students in Richland and Lexington Counties.

HIV/AIDS Program:
Seeks to inform and educate the community about HIV while encouraging risk education and preventive behavior.
