The South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Festival

The South Carolina Juneteenth Freedom Fest exists to honor our ancestors by remembering what they endured through slavery, oppression, and generations of hardship, and by recognizing the sacrifices that made our lives and opportunities possible today. We commemorate emancipation as both a celebration of freedom and a solemn acknowledgment of the pain, resilience, and perseverance that came before us. Through year round programming focused on culture, education, health, youth, and community empowerment, we turn remembrance into action and legacy into impact.
