Snug Harbor Wildlife Rescue and Sanctuary

The Snug Harbor Wildlife family is ecstatic to be apart of Midlands Gives Day 2026! 

Our mission is not only dedicated to the animals that we rescue but to our community surrounding them too. Without those who pause their busy lives to help babies separated from their mother, those hit by cars, the ones our pets cross paths with and other sick/injured wildlife- we would not be able to do what we do!

Our primary goal before the animals even make it into our care is to keep these animals in the wild if possible. We strive to reunite babies with their mothers and go through checklists of all other animals to make sure they need intervention and our help.

Emergencies do not have business hours, neither do we! Our in-home rehab network allows us to provide 24-7 access to you and around the clock care to those that come in for rehabilitation. During their stays with us whether a few days or many months, every second is dedicated to getting them back in the wild to live the life they are intended to live! 

We are fortunate to also have the capabilities to provide animals with disabilities and great quality of life sanctuary with us. These animals are great ambassadors to help bring awareness to all sorts of situations that wildlife endures while showing how smart and unremarkable these animals truly are! 

Donations of all magnitudes help provide caging/enclosures, formula, medications & vet care, enrichment activities and so much more that goes into the care of the hundreds of animals we help each year. So far this year we have already taken in two hundred animals.
