Richland County Sheriff's Foundation

Richland County deputies risk their lives daily. They protect people and property, often under adverse conditions. Providing equipment when it is needed, rather than when dollars become available was, and still is, The Richland County Sheriff's Foundation's primary objective.

We equip deputies with the tools necessary to perform their duties safely and enable them to provide effective and efficient protection to Richland County citizens and visitors. These funds have been used to purchase lifesaving equipment such as bullet proof vests. We also purchase and support the needs of our beloved K9 team, support protective enforcement programs like D.A.R.E. and community policing initiatives like our Kid Print program. Additionally, RCSF funds are used to assist families of deputies killed in the line of duty, deputies who are injured in the line of duty, and deputies who are experiencing hardships due to serious injury or illness. In addition to these items, we also assist with scholarships for children of these slain officers as well as others associated with the sheriff's department. We strive to support Richland County Sheriff's Department through special projects and programs that are not possible with taxpayer funding alone.
