Rising V.O.I.C.E.S.

Rising V.O.I.C.E.S. was founded in 2024, and serves young ladies of color in the Midlands. V.O.I.C.E.S stands for Valuing Opportunities and Intentionally Choosing to Embrace Success. Our mission is to empower young ladies of color with tools and resources by fostering positive relationships, promoting educational, mental, emotional, and social wellness, and preparing them to be productive in their communities. 

All events that we host are meticulously designed by the Board, using connections and resources identified as essential for this specific population. As a new organization with a small board, substantial time, energy, and resources are required to execute each activity successfully. The ability to plan thoroughly, follow up diligently, and access necessary resources are invaluable, though it came at a cost. Our fundraisers, significantly supported by family and friends, along with continual personal contributions, allow our events to flourish.
