Planned Parenthood South Atlantic (PPSAT) is an essential health care provider committed to educating our communities and expanding and protecting access to reproductive health services. We proudly serve communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia by providing high-quality, affordable medical care and education.

We serve more than 50,000 women, men, and young people every year, but we know the need for our health care services is much greater.

Our patients rely on us for basic health care, like annual exams, lifesaving breast and cervical cancer screenings, birth control, STD prevention, diagnosis, and treatment as well as high-quality, compassionate abortion services. Almost 70% of our patients remain uninsured, most are young adults, and many represent the working poor.

We are committed to ensuring that our services truly reflect and meet community needs. That means looking at the public health needs of the communities we serve and asking ourselves how we're moving the needle on reproductive health. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic can and will do more to expand access to health care and education for all.
