One SC Relief Fund

A nonprofit organization

The One SC Fund is a fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation. The One SC Fund is a fundraising effort that helps South Carolinians who are recovering from a disaster, such as Hurricanes Helene, Matthew, and Florence, the 2015 Thousand Year Flood, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Established to help South Carolinians recover from a disaster, the One SC Fund is used to support nonprofit organizations providing relief and recovery assistance to South Carolina residents during times of disaster. Thanks to many generous donors throughout the state and nation, the Fund responds during state-declared disasters, including Hurricane Helene.

99% of all money donated to the One SC Fund will be granted to local nonprofits providing disaster relief and recovery in South Carolina. The remaining 1% of money donated will be directed to outreach, research, reporting, and the administration and oversight of grant contracts.

The One SC Fund has distributed over $12M in grants to nonprofits in every SC county to support disaster recovery projects across our state. Funds distributed by the One SC Fund have repaired over 2,300 homes and provided essential goods and services to over 865,000 South Carolinians.
