One-Eighty Place

One80 Place ends and prevents homelessness. We believe everyone deserves a home. We service Veterans, men, women, and children.

One80 Place focuses on helping men, women, children, and Veterans battling homelessness in the Midlands. Services include: outreach, case management, assistance in obtaining VA benefits, help accessing other public benefits, and temporary financial assistance that can help pay for rent, utilities, security deposits and moving costs.

One80 Place has grown to be one of the largest homeless service providers to individuals and families in South Carolina. It operates two satellite offices in North Charleston and Columbia and a shelter in downtown Charleston. We serve 20 out of the 46 counties in South Carolina. Our belief is the only solution to ending homelessness is housing. Being part of the Charleston and Midlands community, One80 Place is well-known to homeless and at-risk individuals; each year we provide services to over 1,700 homeless men, women and children and half of those served every year are Veterans.
