FOD Mission Statement: Planting seeds into our local communities by making a impact full of hope, and service to families/ individuals facing unfortunate financial and life challenges.   

At Fabrics of Descend, our mission focuses on "planting seeds" into our local communities to break cycles of hardship, restore dignity, and foster long-term stability. We actively support vulnerable populations through several targeted outreach initiatives, including:

• Adopt-a-Classroom: Supporting local educators and ensuring students have an equal opportunity to succeed academically.
• Holiday Family Support: Alleviating financial stress by providing $500 grants to two or three families during the Christmas season.
• Domestic Violence Survivor Support: Offering critical resources and community assistance to help survivors safely rebuild their lives with autonomy and freedom. We also providing Tender Loving Care (TLC) packages.
• Back-to-School Drives: Supplying essential materials to children in need, ensuring they start the academic year on equal footing with their peers.

FOD will review the requests of all nominees. There is a limit what we can provide, due to budget constraints.

FOD has provided $1500 to 3 more families last December to provide a lil Sparkle during the holidays. We continue to adopt classrooms with monetary resources and assisting new educators. 

 FOD aslo continues to provide more broad service by providing backpacks and school supplies. We still provide TLC bin packages to homeless and domestic violence survivors residents to include filled with socks, hats, scarves, hygiene items and multiple mix of gift cards.
