CREATING CAREER CONNECTIONS: Whom does MEBA serve?

  • STUDENTS: 
    • Participate in field studies in career areas of interest. Scholars can get a real feel for the workplace environment and learn next steps for entry level employment from current professionals.
    • Get resources that inform: salary expectations, life skill information, prepare for job applications and find links to apprenticeships/internships/scholarships.
  • EDUCATORS: 
    • Participate in courses for continuing education. 
    • Networking opportunities with businesses. 
    • Summer intern for a week to explore the workplace. 
    • Educator only field studies.
    • Resources to find business speakers for the classroom and more!
  • EMPLOYERS: 
    • Connect with schools. Observe the coursework and meet students studying in your field. 
    • Learn from the educators about transitions from school to work and how the support systems work to prepare our future workforce.
    • Help students transition from high school to hired in the employer's field, decreasing the gap between open career positions and skilled talent to fill them.
