Midlands Technical College Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Midlands Technical College Foundation supports College programs and services providing accessible, affordable, quality education that prepares a diverse student population to succeed in the job market, to transfer to four-year colleges and universities, and to achieve their professional and personal goals. The college equitably provides higher education opportunities that stimulate the local economy by generating a world-class workforce and enhancing the social vitality of the community.

MTC serves more than 25,000 students annually with more than 150 education and training programs of study that prepare graduates to enter the workforce or continue their education. 95% of MTC graduates are employed or continuing their education within six months of graduation. 83% of MTC students call Richland, Lexington, and Fairfield counties home, and the vast majority of graduates remain in the Midlands to live, work, and contribute to the economy.
