Irmo High School Education Foundation

The mission of the Irmo High School Education Foundation is to support & promote academics at Irmo High School in Columbia. The Education Foundation raises private funds from individuals and businesses to enhance the quality of education for all Irmo High School students, and acts as the fiscal agent for donors that wish to sponsor projects for the school, its teachers and students.

The Irmo High School Education Foundation was formed in November 2003 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit separate from Irmo High School, created and administered by volunteers who are friends and supporters of the school. The Foundation is dedicated to the support and enhancement of educational programs at Irmo High School International School for the Arts in Columbia, South Carolina.

In pursuit of its mission, the organization provides (1) Foundation Grants directly to teachers at Irmo High School to purchase items to support academics in the classroom and (2) Academic Scholarships to students pursuing education or training after graduation.
