Founded in 1993 as a project of the Gay and Lesbian Pride Movement, the Harriet Hancock LGBT Center is a vital resource for the LGBTQ+ community in Columbia, South Carolina and the midlands. The mission of the Harriet Hancock LGBT Center is to provide education, social support, and resources related to current and evolving concerns of the LGBTQ+ community in South Carolina.
