$5,000 Goal

The mission of the Good Samaritan Clinic is to show God's love by providing quality, respectful and free health care to those who are uninsured and lack the resources to obtain health care. Good Samaritan Clinic envisions communities where families and individuals are receiving the medical care that they need and deserve.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit free medical clinic with four locations located in the Midlands of South Carolina.

In 2023, the Clinic held close to 2,000 consultations. We provide free medical care to those without insurance and who live below the federal poverty line. With only one full time and four part time staff we are almost entirely ran by volunteers: Physicians, PA's, NP's, RN's, administrative staff, patient educators, and interpreters.

Although we see all who are uninsured GSC is well-known throughout the Midlands for serving the Hispanic population with culturally and linguistically competent primary and preventative medical care.

Testimonials

Maribel accompanied her husband to his appointment at the Good Samaritan Clinic with no intention of seeing a doctor. While she
was there, everyone in the waiting room was invited to take a glucose screening. Maribel agreed out of curiosity. Her result was more than 400. Clinic staff quickly ad-ministered an A1C test and found that her level was 14. Maribel was immediately brought in to see a doctor who confirmed a diagnosis of diabetes. Medication was prescribed and health education provided.
