For the Love of Zoey

For the Love of Zoey is a compassionate initiative dedicated to providing care and resources that enhance the well-being of patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, while also providing ongoing support for their caregivers. 

Through fundraising efforts and generous in-kind donations of items such as blankets, head turbans, journals, puzzle books, socks, tea, gift cards, and more, we curate and deliver thoughtfully assembled love packages. 

We have served (490) people since 2015, providing what we call "love packages" to Cancer Warriors. These heartfelt gestures have brought smiles to many faces, and we are committed to sustaining and expanding this service for the long term. 

We have previously worked with Brookdale Hospital and Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. As of 2024, we have expanded to Columbia, South Carolina, and worked with South Carolina Oncology, the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and Lexington Health Medical Foundation.

Gifting these chemo care love packages may seem like a small gesture to some, but to the patient undergoing treatment for cancer, it gives them a sense of hope, encouragement, and comfort. We have been told on many occasions that receiving one of our gift bags has brought the recipient so much joy, hope, and most of all gratitude.

What's Next?

Looking ahead, we aim to launch a co-payment assistance program designed to reduce financial stress and provide resources for caregivers who often carry an unseen burden. By offering this support, we will be able to provide families with moments of relief, stability, and hope during unimaginably difficult times.

We remain committed to growing our reach and deepening the support we provide to the cancer community. With continued partnership and support, we will expand our programs and bring even more comfort, care, and hope to those who need it most.
