Working with partners to provide sustainable support that will ensure the growth and appreciation of the arts through the programs and services of the Newberry Arts Center. Vision: Arts experiences which bring together the diverse populations of the greater Newberry community and enhance quality of life.

CREATE Newberry believes that the arts change lives. Because of this we work to provide art classes, workshops, and other experiences for our community members who otherwise would not be able to afford these experiences or do not know the possibilities of how the arts bring our diverse community together to understand each other better. We do this by working with the Newberry Arts Center to take arts programming outside the walls of the Newberry Arts Center and to the places in the communities where the people participating feel comfortable.
A great deal of our efforts focusses on the children and teens in our community. Being a rural community in the South Carolina, we know that there are still strong feelings that not all member of the community are welcome in all areas of Newberry. CREATE Newberry works to dispel these feelings by providing arts experiences that brings the diverse community together to make personal connections with each other.
