To promote the preservation and development of community resources that will enhance and improve the quality of life for all of the citizens of Calhoun County.

Calhoun County Resources, Inc. (CCRI), is a non-profit 501c3 community organization. CCRI began when a group of graduates and former students of John Ford High School/John Ford Middle School began to have concerns that the building could be abandoned or demolished after the new K-8 was completed. As interest grew, the group of concerned individuals held meetings monthly and formally organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2009.

CCRI & John Ford Community Center (JFCC)
CCRI, working with the county, school board, community organizations & citizens, was instrumental in the preservation of the former JF High School/JF Middle School and development of the now JFCC. The new community center houses the JF Association, St. Matthews Police Dept., Calhoun County Cares, Calhoun County First Steps, Calhoun County Head Start, a daycare ctr, large banquet facility, commercial kitchen, meeting rooms, & outdoor recreation facility.
