371st Infantry Regiment WWI Memorial Monument Association

A nonprofit organization

To memorialize the brave African-American soldiers of the 371st Infantry Regiment who trained at Camp Jackson, South Carolina, and were sent to the bloody battlefields of France to serve with honor and distinction in World War One.

The focus of our organization is to raise funds to sculpt and place a monument at Fort Jackson to honor these African American heroes. Secondarily, we will educate the public on the history and sacrifice of these brave men.
