Canoeing for Kids

Canoeing for Kids primary function is to provide free paddlesport opportunities for disadvantaged children. Though we started as a canoeing outfit the kids now prefer kayaks and paddle boards. We offer free services locally on the Saluda and Congaree Rivers. We also travel the entire state of South Carolina to provide children paddling opportunities. Over 29,000 disadvantaged children have experienced paddlesports with us since 1993.

Canoeing for Kids is a non-profit organization serving as a free recreational outlet for disadvantaged children. Canoeing for Kids' primary function is to provide free canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding for underprivileged children. Thousands of kids have benefited from the experience of being "on the water." Teamwork, self-reliance, sense of accomplishment, as well as awareness and conservation of nature is achieved while the kids simply have fun. Free services are provided to children's homes, camps for physically and mentally challenged children and many other qualifying groups. Adventures are catered to the individual group's skills and / or limitations.
