Due to COVID-19, up to 40% of Able SC's annual budget was impacted by the suspension of a critical funding stream. With the increased need in services, we have pivoted funding strategies and are committed to continue serving our consumers during this time! More than a year later, the needs are increasing.
In response to COVID-19, we are:
1) Ensuring adults and youth with disabilities have access to food, essential supplies, healthcare, education, and benefits.
2) Assisting with the mental health of consumers by increasing online peer support.
3) Assisting with recovery support and vaccinations for individuals with disabilities.
