The National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina is a non-profit organization made up of blind people. We work together to improve the quality of life for all blind South Carolinians through legislation, programs, community events, advocacy, and collective action.

The National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina is the voice of and for blind South Carolinians. At our state headquarters, The Federation Center of the Blind, we offer computer training for blind individuals. Successful Transitions (ST), a Pre-Employment Transition Services Program, operates under the NFB of SC. Services provided through ST include instruction for blind youth ages 13 -21 in self-advocacy, post-secondary exploration, work-readiness, work-based learning opportunities, and peer mentoring. ST and the SC Commission for the Blind partner to equip students with the skills to be independent blind adults.
