Assatta's Midlands Gives - Growing Hope Fundraiser

This year for Midlands Gives, I’m supporting Growing Hope. We do so much for children and families, but this year I really want to highlight Leaphart Place—the only transitional living program like it in South Carolina for young adults aging out of foster care. 

It’s a structured, supportive home with 20 fully furnished apartment units where residents (18+) commit to working, school, or volunteering at least 25 hours a week while building real life skills like budgeting, cooking, and job readiness. They also have access to on-site support, mental health services, and a community that’s focused on accountability and independence. It’s a bridge to stability, and something that really sets this program apart. If you’re able to give or just take a minute to learn more, I’d really appreciate it.
