Help us keep our Happy Wheels rolling! I have had the privilege of being a Happy Wheels volunteer since 2012 and to see what a difference it makes to a hospitalized child. Each Monday Happy Wheels rolls through the inpatient halls at Prisma Children’s Hospital and gives a toy or book to each child to take home. On Tuesdays, we roll through the Oncology/Hematology Clinic and Sedation Recovery and do the same. All of the brand new books and toys are donated with funding by our generous community. Happy Wheels is a bright spot and is many times the highlight of the day in what can be a scary and isolating time for a sick child. Just a $10 donation can put a smile on the face of a child with a book or a toy in their hand to take home!
