Erika Loves Happy Wheels!

I came to know about Happy Wheels and have volunteered for them at various events for many years. This is a great local organization, run by a Batesburg-Leesville native, Tracey Rankin. As a school teacher, this organization is near and dear to my heart because it supports young children who are ill and brightens their day. Please join me in supporting them by helping me reach my goal. Even the smallest gifts make a big difference for a sick kid in our local children's hospital.

One day, each week throughout the year, Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to each inpatient room with a decorated surgical cart filled with brand new books and toys. Happy Wheels visits approximately 400 children weekly at all 3 children's hospitals in South Carolina. Each child gets to pick out one toy/book of their choice every week for the duration of their admission. They get to keep the gifts and take them home!
