Lucas Loves Happy Wheels!

Lucas was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at age 3 in 2017. During seven years of treatment, he showed incredible strength. In 2020, just before finishing treatment, his leukemia relapsed and he was also diagnosed with a rare lung lymphoma, requiring specialized care at MUSC. There, he underwent a bone marrow transplant and CAR-T therapy, leading to remission but causing severe side effects.

Despite it all, Lucas found joy in weekly visits from the Happy Wheels cart, especially with Ms. Tracey. He loved choosing toys—often Legos, Bakugan, or Nerf guns—and sometimes picked gifts for his sister, Lilly.

In November 2024, after a long battle with leukemia and complications from his Bone marrow transplant, Lucas passed away. To honor him, Lilly held a toy drive, donating over 500 toys to Happy Wheels. Lucas would be proud to see the joy his favorite program continues to bring.
