Working in the Outreach Department at SC Thrive is one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my life. Every day, I get to see firsthand how our work truly changes lives, whether through a conversation, an application, or a moment of compassion that helps someone put food on their table or receive the medical care they desperately need. Those moments remind me why this work matters.

I believe deeply in the mission of SC Thrive because no individual or family should ever have to choose between groceries, healthcare, or life‑saving medication. Yet for so many South Carolinians, that choice is a daily reality. At SC Thrive, we work to remove those barriers by meeting people where they are, listening to their stories, and walking alongside them during some of their most vulnerable moments.
