I am raising money for Literacy SC because I believe no one in South Carolina should be held back by a lack of basic skills.
In our state, nearly 1 in 5 adults struggles to read a prescription bottle or papers from their child's school. This is a silent barrier to a more confident life.
Literacy SC provides free, private, one-on-one reading tutoring plus multiple live classes at 41 partner sites across 7 counties—including all local libraries in those counties. They turn "I can't" into "Wow, I just read that!".
How you can help:
$20.26 (Friend): A friendly funding for a fantastic year.
$50 (Tutor Hero): Funds 4 private sessions for a learner-tutor pair.
$200 (Classroom Hero): Provides all supplies for an adult to complete 8 group classes.
$1,000 (Chapter Master): Covers an entire 40-class chapter of learning.
