Eve Loves Happy Wheels!

Eve first met Happy Wheels five days into her treatment for leukemia but our relationship with Happy Wheels extends far beyond the hospital, almost seven years later! Their care isn't just limited to Eve or the hospital - they love on the whole family! Thankfully, the hospital is no longer our "home away from home," but that hasn't changed our interaction with Happy Wheels. Lately, Eve joins her siblings and parents to support Happy Wheels by attending speaking engagements to share her story and the impact Happy Wheels made by brightening long hospital stays. As a happy, healthy nine-year-old, Eve also loves to help with toy drives and book collections - she knows exactly how much each donation will help a child in the hospital. With your donation, you can put toys and books in the hands of kids like Eve. 

One day, each week throughout the year, Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to each inpatient room with a decorated surgical cart filled with brand new books and toys. Happy Wheels visits approximately 400 children weekly at all 3 children's hospitals in South Carolina. Each child gets to pick out one toy/book of their choice every week for the duration of their admission. They get to keep the gifts and take them home!
