Mindy the KidzRN loves Happy Wheels!

As a pediatric nurse, my heartbeat is children.  From my nephew, my church babies and kiddos, and my patients,  these kids are my life.  It absolutely hurts my heart when any child has to be hospitalized, but if they find themselves at one of our SC Children's Hospitals, I know that Happy Wheels will be there to bring a smile to their faces during what is a scary and difficult time.  I know and love the mission of Happy Wheels, and it's a JOY to serve with and alongside the executive director and this non-profit she puts her whole heart & soul into.  From egging yards, to collecting toys/puzzles/books, to making special house-calls when things are really tough, this is an organization I'm always ready to serve with/for and don't hesitate to ask you to support.  Bringing a smile to a child's face (babies to teenagers) is something that never gets old.  Please consider supporting Happy Wheels and our hospitalized children in SC…you won't regret it - pinky promise! 

One day, each week throughout the year, Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to each inpatient room with a decorated surgical cart filled with brand new books and toys. Happy Wheels visits approximately 400 children weekly at all 3 children's hospitals in South Carolina. Each child gets to pick out one toy/book of their choice every week for the duration of their admission. They get to keep the gifts and take them home!
