The Hoof and Paw Benevolent Society of South Carolina is a grassroots, all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals throughout our state. Originally founded in 2012, we have grown into one of the leading advocacy organizations for animal welfare in South Carolina.
We are primarily fundraisers who donate to 501(c)(3) rescues, municipal shelters, and humane societies that we have meticulously vetted through Secretary of State ratings, annual statistics, and home visits.
Every year, thousands of animals suffer neglect, abuse and abandonment. At Hoof and Paw, we strive to change that story—one life at a time. However, we can’t do it alone.
Through supporting rescue efforts, medical emergencies, spay/neuter programs, heartworm disease treatments, and pet food for senior citizens, we are making a measurable impact.
Together, we can make South Carolina a more humane state for animals.
