Jus Justice

Ju’stice (J-U-’-S-T-I-C-E) is a South Carolina-based nonprofit organization dedicated to building safer, stronger communities by preventing community violence and connecting youth and families to support and opportunity through community-driven strategies and trusted partnerships.

Founded in response to personal loss, Ju’stice transforms grief into action by addressing the root causes of violence while creating pathways for safer, stronger communities. The organization leads innovative, data-informed initiatives that bridge gaps between law enforcement, schools, and the communities they serve.

Key programs include:

• Anonymous Gun Drop-Off Activations (AGDA): Providing a safe, anonymous way to surrender unwanted firearms and ammunition. Through these activations, Ju’stice has facilitated a cumulative total of more than 2,000 high-powered ammunition and firearms removed, each representing a potential life saved. 
• Justice Student Intervention Network (JSIN): A school-based prevention and early intervention model that empowers students, promotes accountability, and introduces safe reporting tools such as the Justice Hotline. 
• Community Advocate Liaison (CAL): A cross-sector coordination model designed to identify service gaps, mobilize local nonprofits, and deliver targeted youth violence prevention efforts. 

Ju’stice’s work is rooted in collaboration, partnering with local law enforcement agencies, school districts, and community organizations to implement solutions that are both immediate and sustainable.

Each firearm and piece of ammunition surrendered represents a potential life saved, and a potential life saved is a life with potential.
